We are hiring an Accountant who will work in the Customer Success and Administration departments to support our clients and teams

Position : Accountant

Who you are

  1. You have 1-3 years of accounting experience
  2. You are meticulous with book keeping
  3. You have hands-on experience using Quickbooks Accounting software to keep records of  financial transactions, including payments, purchases, and income
  4. You are IT savvy and can grasp the workings of Streamline Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and train other accountants on using the system.
  5. You have a good understanding of taxation and URA taxation systems
  6. You are result-oriented and have a track record of delivering results on time.
  7. You are a good listener and are able to understand root-cause problems that clients are experiencing and offer practical solutions to those challenges.
  8. You are a good communicator, with excellent presentation skills
  9. You are a team player and know how to work in team
  10. You are accountable; Know how to provide feedback or ask for help when it is needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with the finance manager to ensure excellent finance management.
  2. Work in the customer success department to train hospital finance teams on the use of Streamline HMIS finance module.

Qualifications

  1. Degree/Diploma in Accounting and finance, business administration and related courses.

Reporting

  1. You will undergo 3 months of intense training at the Streamline office in Kampala  to master the Streamline products and our processes
  2. This role is full time.
  3. You will report to the Finance Manager.
