Stre@mline Health Tech is hiring a Grants Management Officer to support her grants function. 

Experience required:

  1. Grants management: Experience with grants management processes; managing a portfolio of at least 10 international grant projects
  2. Procurement: Experience with procurement processes for grants organisations.
  3. Budgeting: Creating and managing project budgets, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and regulations. 
  4. Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of grants, projects, and related activities. 
  5. Grant Monitoring: Regularly monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and reporting on project outcomes. 
  6. Donor Compliance: Ensuring that all grant activities comply with donor requirements, policies, and regulations. 
  7. Financial Management: Managing grant funds, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed. 
  8. Reporting: Preparing narrative and financial reports for donors, documenting project progress, and highlighting key achievements. 
  9. Sub grant Management: Managing sub-grants to partner organizations, including financial oversight and compliance monitoring. 
  10. Audit: Successfully handled audits for various projects. 
  11. IT Systems: Experience using systems like Navision Business Central 365 software package in Grants management 

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Other professional accounting certifications are an added advantage. 
  2. Certifications in Grants Management are an added advantage. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

  1. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams, including budget management, financial reporting, and donor compliance. 
  2. Participate in the design and implementation of Grants Management Information management system at the organisation.
  3. Training other grants officers on the use of best Grants Management practices

The successful candidate will undergo a probation period, working part-time, for 3 months (2 working days per week) with option for full-time after.
