Stre@mline Health Tech is hiring a Grants Management Officer to support her grants function.
Experience required:
- Grants management: Experience with grants management processes; managing a portfolio of at least 10 international grant projects
- Procurement: Experience with procurement processes for grants organisations.
- Budgeting: Creating and managing project budgets, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and regulations.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of grants, projects, and related activities.
- Grant Monitoring: Regularly monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and reporting on project outcomes.
- Donor Compliance: Ensuring that all grant activities comply with donor requirements, policies, and regulations.
- Financial Management: Managing grant funds, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed.
- Reporting: Preparing narrative and financial reports for donors, documenting project progress, and highlighting key achievements.
- Sub grant Management: Managing sub-grants to partner organizations, including financial oversight and compliance monitoring.
- Audit: Successfully handled audits for various projects.
- IT Systems: Experience using systems like Navision Business Central 365 software package in Grants management
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Other professional accounting certifications are an added advantage.
- Certifications in Grants Management are an added advantage.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams, including budget management, financial reporting, and donor compliance.
- Participate in the design and implementation of Grants Management Information management system at the organisation.
- Training other grants officers on the use of best Grants Management practices
The successful candidate will undergo a probation period, working part-time, for 3 months (2 working days per week) with option for full-time after.
