Equipping health workers with digital literacy skills
One of the challenges to adoption of Electronic Medical Records in Uganda is the inadequate digital literacy skills possessed by health care workers. A good percentage of health care workers are not conversant with using computers despite the fact that this is one of the courses they undertake during their training. It is for this reason that we recommend digital literacy training in every hospital before they can adopt Stre@mline software. In the picture, Dr. Ian Spillman demonstrates the functioning of stre@mline at the paediatric ward at COU Kisiizi Hospital.
